On May 20, the 1st observation for the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden was in Ermelo.
Eva had ridden very nice with Jerenzo Texel and then she received good trainingstips from Johan Rockx.
This morning we received the message that Jerenzo is through to the next observation/training round for the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses! We are happy!
Today the Texel horses were finally allowed to compete again! It was Eva’s competition debut with our 6-year-old ster prok mare Kado Rieta Corieta Texel (Governor x keur pref sport Burggraaf) and immediately in the Z2 dressage class! Kado did two super nice tests. It resulted in a great score of 71.47% and 68.82%!
Next up was our 6-year-old elite mare Kristal Lady Texel (Everdale x elite pref perst sport Farmer). It was also a debut for her in the Z2 class. With a lot of control and expression, Eva rode the mare to a top score of 69.56% and 71.76%!
As a result, both mares have achieved the sport predicate today!
Last but not least was Eva’s ZZ-Zwaar debut with our KWPN ggk stallion Jerenzo Texel (Enzo Ferrari x elite pref perst ibop d-oc Jazz). In the first test an air ambulance flew over, so that the combination was briefly distracted, but luckily she recovered quickly. It resulted in 69.79%. In the second test, Eva Jerenzo presented Texel beautifully, with high marks for the exercises and an 8 for his gaits, the final score was 72.57%.
Super happy with these great results!
We heard today that our stallion Jerenzo Texel (Enzo Ferrari x Jazz) and Eva have been selected for the first observation/training for the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in the 7 year old!
On King’s Day they had the first selection round, happy with the presentation and this good news!
Also our breeding products Kevin Costner Texel (Negro x Jazz) with Antoñito Laiz Zandio and Key-West Texel (Glocks Toto jr x Ferro) with Chiel van Bedaf, have been selected for the next round. Both horses participate in the 6-year-old dressage horses.

Today we received this sweet picture of Zeestar Texel (by Ferro) from Maggie Elsbernd!
This weekend they scored 77.033% for the “Fourth Level Freestyle” and 71.617% for the PSG in Wellington USA. What a great achievement!

Today the real grown-ups rode GrandPrix .. 61.3% “the sufficient”
It could have been really higher, but unfortunately we had some big mistakes. but so for the first time, i’m really proud.
You don’t drive such a test every day.
So so proud of Ego .. exactly 6 years ago he was really well saddle broke, we could sit on it, everything was said with that and now so quickly know all the buttons and do that GP test with enough ..! there is so much more to it .. keep going
Last Thursday Eva and Dark Knight Texel (Wynton x prok elite pref perst) took part in the Grand Prix again after a long time.
The combination scored a nice percentage of 63.27%!

Oh oh .. Jerenzo Texel went so good through his Z2-test during the Dutch Championships in Ermelo that Eva got a total blackout and forgot the rest of her test! They went the wrong way twice and luckily the jury helped her on her way back in the test. Very unfortunate, but it can happen…! We must remember the good feeling of the first part of the test! Hopefully next time we will have a bit more luck.
What a great job! Britt has two medals in the pocket at the Dutch Indoor Dressage Championships in Ermelo! Together with Himmeren’s Goudtopaas, Britt became DUTCH CHAMPION in the Class L category a / b! And with her other pony Allstart she has become a RESERVE CHAMPION in the Class B category C! Jerenzo Texel and Eva became yesterday reserve champion in the Z2 of the region Noord-Holland!
During the test this nice combination became 1st with 68%. They scored a nice 2nd place in the freestyle.
Off to the Dutch Championship in Ermelo on Friday, March 6!
Today Lisette van Ginkel and Gearieta Texel (Bon Bravour x elite pref prest eptm prok Jazz, owned by Family Smeenk) scored a 4th place with 63.38% in a strong field in the Prix St Georges in Bunschoten-Spakenburg! Congratulations!
